Freya has been the NCRA/ANREC's Regulatory Affairs Director for the last 14 years. She has also worked and volunteered at 5 different NCRA member stations in BC over the last 20 years. When not volunteering for the NCRA or a station, she is a lawyer for the BC Ministry of Attorney General. She recently spent 15 months living in Wellington, New Zealand and returned to Canada in May 2017.

Adam Glynn

I started my broadcasting career at volunteer run Radio Harrow in London, England - and for five years I presented a variety of programmes, read news bulletins, and for a time served on the board as Program Director. Subsequently, I worked with the BBC and some of Britain’s leading commercial stations, providing traffic news reports. I was ‘imported’ to Winnipeg by my wife in 2013, and since then have volunteered with CJNU - Nostalgia Radio - again, serving on the board for a time, and co-chairing the station’s Programming Committee.

Catherine Fisher [Secretary]

Catherine Fisher has volunteered in c/c radio since 1988 and she is currently a programmer and board member at CJLY-FM on Sinixt traditional territory in rural BC. She was elected to the NCRA board in 2007 and served 3 board terms, ending in 2013. She's excited to contribute to the work of the organization again this year.

Dinah Jansen [Treasurer]

Dinah is the Station Manager at CFRC 101.9 FM at Queen's University in Kingston Ontario where she also volunteered as an on air spoken word and musical content host for eight years. She holds a PhD in Russian History from Queen's where she is also an adjunct professor. After years of work in campus-based politics, governance, community-building and social justice, she is delighted by the opportunity to join the NCRA Board and further the interests of campus-community stations nationwide.

Francella Fiallos [Equity Officer]

Francella Fiallos is the Programming and Development Director for CKDU 88.1FM in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has been active in campus and community radio for over four years. She completed her Bachelor of Journalism degree at Carleton University in Ottawa and is currently completing her Master's in Journalism at the University of King's College. Her work has been featured on CBC Radio, AMARC, rabble.ca, and Storytellers of Canada. She is on the Polaris Prize jury.

Juanita Muwanga

Juanita started in campus/community radio as a DJ for CJSR but since then has worked as the Live Events Coordinator for CJRU while completing her BA at Ryerson University. She has Four years of work experience in the communication and marketing field as well as Three years of experience working in non-profit organizations in a capacity building magnitude. She has been involved in a wide range of community youth projects as well as international sustainability-driven development projects.

Katie Sage [President]

Katie Sage is an visitor on unceded Songhees (Lkwungen) & W̱SÁNEĆ (SENĆOŦEN) Territories. Sage's background is in visual arts and curation, they are currently the Program Director at CFUV 101.9 FM in Victoria, BC. They host a weekly 1 hour music program "iN/RaiN-B0Ws" which showcases LGBTQ+ allied artists and also they have received 2 successful BC Arts Council grants to produce an arts and culture podcast called "ARTSCAPE". Sage has been working in arts and culture for 10 years and strives to incorporate vulnerability and play in all of the work that they do.

Madeline Taylor

Madeline Taylor is a radio producer from Vancouver, British Columbia, with a passion for social commentary. She has worked in Campus/Community radio since 2013, and is the current Programming Director at CiTR 101.9FM. In the past she volunteered as the secretary of the Board of Directors for CJSF 90.1FM, Women’s Collective Coordinator at CJSF 90.1FM, and worked as Spoken Word Coordinator at CiTR101.9FM. Her documentary production work earned an honourable mention at the NCRC Radio Awards, and she has done freelance production work for ABC, the BBC, and various community radio initiatives.

Victoria King is the Program Director at CKUW 95.9 FM in Winnipeg MB. She first got involved in C/C radio in 2010 as a wide-eyed University student. She is passionate about the potential for radio to help build our communities into better places for everyone.
