Shelley first heard community radio when she moved to Halifax at 16 and stumbled across CKDU-FM. Three years later she and a friend had a show early on Wednesday mornings, but can't remember what it was called. Eight years after that, she was Station Coordinator there and joined the Board of the NCRA. She has also worked in community media in Northern Ireland, Afghanistan and Rwanda. Now she's thrilled to be back, working with the NCRA and its amazing members.
